Answered Bi-Amplification with an AVReceiver

Here again!
With two Loudspeakers bi-amp capable, is it possible to connect them bi-amp to the AVreceiver using two different channels? For example Front right and left + surround right and left? Or how is it possible to make the bi-amp?

It is possible if your AVR supports that function, and you are not using those amplification channels for other speakers.

What AVR is it?

It's the new Yamaha RX-A870.

It can be done, see page 24 to 26. But, if bi-amping the front left and right speakers, you will only be able to power 5 speakers in total (rather than 7), you need to set the power amp assign to 5.1 Bi Amp.
