    Current system

    Arcam cd73.
Arcam A85 bi-amped with my old Alpha 10 integrated amp (in power amp mode)
    Proac Response D15 speakers
    Nordost gold flatline
    Atlas explorer interconnects

Will swapping the Alpha 10 for a P85 do much more than make my setup look better?

I am thinking of buying an AV amp. Would any of the Arcam AV amps be suited to bi-amping with my A85 or should I stick with a hifi power amp?

    Thanks

Probably wouldn't make a great deal of difference. Why don't you speak to your local dealer who may be able to offer you a lona of an P90 to try out. Just in case you're wondering, the P90 is exactly the same as an P85, they just changed the model number to match the A90.

With an A85 running to the tweeters of B&W DM 603S3's and a P90 to the woofers, are you suggesting there is no imbalance? I am curious, since I have wondered if I should attach the amps the other way round. Thank you.
