Further to my first post, I have realised that my Audiolab 8000PX has BFA (I think are used by Audiolab/ TAG, Linn and Arcam) connectors and i think that my new Yamaha (on order) RX-V650 will have standard banana plug sockets. My speaker cables obviously have BFA connectors at the Amp end, so does anyone know of any converters that will turn my BFA plugs on my speakers cables into a banana plugs?

    fingers crossed

    Thanks :)

Edit: Done a bit more research on the internet and I think that UK amps now have BFA connectors as standard. I have compared the pictures of the rear of the amp from the UK and US web sites and the UK one looks very difference and more like whats on the back of my Audiolab

If anyone knows better please put me straight ;P

Edit 2: Oh well more reading and it looks like now everyone uses a modified 4mm banana plug for the speaker terminals at the back of amplifiers

Well I gues i'll wait and see, amp should arrive Tuesday
