I've had my 42" Panny 6 for a number of months now, I bought it with the tuner before I became familiar with all the good information on these forums, but now I'm thinking of changing my setup and looking for advice. My current setup is

Panansonic TH42PW6BX - with Tuner Board + VGA
    DVDS75 Component Out (Belden 7710A Cable) - TUPTA600 - Plasma
    Playstation2 RGB - TUPTA600 - Plasma
    SAXR45 Amplifier

It would be hard for me to install the component board in the plasma as I've already put cables in walls and decorated but luckily I laid a VGA cable, would I see any increase in picture quality if I took the DVD component out into a JS YUV2VGA converter and miss out the tuner? Is it worth the extra expense?

    Many thanks
