I recommend you read this "Recommended DVD Retailers" sticky thread:
    http://www.avforums.com/forums/showthread.php?t=85092

[@ AV Forums > Source Material > DVD Suppliers & Technology]

for items within the £18 duty threshold, I have used CD WOW, DVD Pacific, DVD Import, Playcentric, Caiman_USA (Amazon.co.uk marketplace retailer), dvd.co.uk and sometimes Playusa - after price checking at www.find-dvd.co.uk/r1/index.htm and www.dvdpricecheck.co.uk

once its over £18, then usually CD WOW and Movietyme as I won't get hit with customs/duty

Yep Krish, those are the ones for me as well:

Amazon.com - some surprising bargains to be found even though shipping is $6.98 on top for single orders (e.g. Cinderella Gift Set, Batman Begins Del. Ed., etc.)

CD-Wow.us or .com - with .us funny enough having some R2 bargains (with links ;) )

DVDPacific - mostly the cheapest source at the moment (and no Can bi-lingo!)

Deepdiscountdvd.com - as another cheap option to compare

finally, don't disregard Amazon.co.uk as there are some great R1 picks to be found via market place - e.g. Caiman - as mentioned - is very reliable.

Those represent/source nearly 99% of my R1 orders nowadays.

I would add Axel Music to those fine suggestions - EU based so also no chance of customs charges.

A agree about the Amazon UK marketplace - and as it happens have ordered with Caiman before and they are very good prices. Although when done through Amazon USA Caiman are more exprensive on shipping.

I always try to get PAL where possible... but if R1 or R3 has DTS extra I will go for that version.

Caiman is cheaper (on postage to UK) if you go via Amazon.co.uk rather than direct from his website.

e.g. Very Bad Things (Slater, Diaz) is $6.98 shipping, whereas from Amazon it is £1.24.

Any idea how Caiman are for customs?

I've used them a few times before but only for cheap items. Wondering if I could order a box set for £28 and be customs safe.
