    Hello everyone,
I just started playing games on xbox live so was wondering which games are the best Xbox live games i.e. Must haves, fast and furious full action games. I got Halo 2 and Burnout Takedown at the moment but not sure which games to go for.
My gamer tag is Captain Strike.

My personal fave is Flatout, mainly for the fact I can get a good laugh of a game without being left racing on my own at the back of the pack

Ahhh Captain strike now i know who you are lol :hiya:
Flatout is good fun But its very buggy the company made a full patch that solves the problems But they dont have the money to release it. The US version includes the fully updated patched game - sadly because that version is patched we cant play against them.
Burnout3 is great fun just a pity its on EA's laughable servers where you spend more time trying to get a game than actually playing one.
Ghost recon 2 (Summit strike is out next month so its better to get that) is very good with some stunning graphics - its very buggy again though - summit strike should be alot more stable.
Black hawk down and Rainbow 6 lockdown are both out in 2 months time and should be alot of fun.

I have only been on Live for about a month myself and have played on PGR3 the most. I know it is not 'proper' racing but I love playing the Last Man Standing and Cat & Mouse games on there...they can be hilarious at times.

I also play Forza occasionally (allthough I stopped playing for a few weeks and am now finding it very difficult to get back into :( ).

Havn't played Halo 2 a lot due to being very very crap at it :D

    PES2 is good too.

If what you mean that not many people play on 'live' then you must be mad!!!! iirc there are over 1million subscribers, rising all the time. The only problem with the people on live is that there are really really popular games(that you might not like) and not so popular games(that you might like) which hardly anyone plays. For example the Big 3 games on live are Halo2, Rainbow6: Black Arrow and PGR2, these are the game where there will always be someone about to play with, but if for example you favorite game is Outlaw Volleyball then you may struggle to ever find someone to play against.

The best thing to do is to build up a good friends list, that way there should always be someone about, that you know, with which you can have a good game

I meant "not many people from this forum" because only 2 guys left reply to my inquirey prior to comment.
there are quite a lot of subscribers, i think little over 2 millions.

Take a look at some of the threads on the XBox forum and see how many posters have their gamertag in their signature (there is a list thread too) and you will be suprised at how many on here are on Live

Within a couple of days of putting my gamertag in my sig I had about ten friend requests from people on here :D

Apart from the obvious votes (Halo 2; Forza) I'd go for Outrun 2. There are some bugs but when you get onto a good server it's great fun!

Oooh, didn't think about getting Outrun2 for the Live play, do you reakon it would suit the less serious player like myself? Tend to avoid alot of the Live games because I'm too rubbish :suicide:

I have tried Outrun 2 a couple of times now but there was not many people on there :( Looked like it could be fun though but a bit limited.

Thanks :) If you think mine is good you should take a look at some of the others in the Members home cinema gallery. There are some in there that are just stunning !

Rainbow Six is a must have if you have friends who also play live as you can hunt the terrorists while having a converstion with your mates

PGR2 is a classic live game

Splinter cell pandora is also hard to beat

Currently im playing Greg Hastings Paintball Top game but you need a little paintball knoledge to understand just how good it is

AFAIK DOA is still popular, i've got a mate (statman) who is on that game constantly, at the very least he'd be there to play against :)

Given that you're named after the master of dark shotokan himself, Akuma, I would have thought the most appropriate suggestion would be SF Anniversary!

Get yourself a copy and unleash the murder-vibration!!

    DT

(gamertag is Dynamic Turtle, if you fancy loosing horribly :) )
(oh, and counter-strike is very, very good too!)

Nice one :smashin: Will have to dig the game out again. Wonder where they got the money from to release the patch for the UK/europe ?? As they were moaning for ages about it.

I reckon Burnout 3 and Ghost Recon 2 (provided someone packs the rocket launcher).

I’m trying to decide whether it is worth buying Burnout 4 and the next Ghost Recon next month with the 360 out at the end of the year.
