I'm thinking about connecting up my PStwo to my HDTV (LG 26LC2R ) and was wondering what the best way to do this is? I'm not sure what type of cables are/where available for the PStwo as I used to use the standard one when I had a CRT TV, my only draw back is that the component sockets are currently been used for my 360. Any views on what to do?

Highest quality video you'll get from a PS2 will be from component second to that will be RGB Scart.

Cheers, might end up getting VGA cable for the 360 then I'll have the component sockets free for the ps2

Hey 6950rpm, I see you have the KDL-40w2000u , how well is the ps2 displayed on it? Have the chance to pick one of these up for around 880 quid but sd (wii + ps2) picture quality is quite important to me b4 I bite.

The jaggies i get on my 50" sony RP 3LCD when using my wii (component) and ps2 (RGB scart) do my nut in!

    Thanks

Well hooking the PS2 up to the TV directly via component and then turning on progressive if the game supports it gives an exceptional picture. Better than running the same game on the PS3 I find.
