best way to set sub to 75db using test tone

    just carted pdr8 back to rs and changed for msw20, speakers small ,sub=yes lfe only, crossover on 3802=80 hz trying to set sub to 75db with spl , i fuel gauges in denon main set up rises but can only get test tone through sub if sub output volum is turned up from minimum to halfway , is there a better way to adjust sub in line with speaker levels, sub is working i got demo in shop before taking it home thank you

    Set the sub output level on the Denon to 0db, then adjust the volume on the sub. Then when youve got it close to 75db finetune with the subwoofer volume on the Denon.
