My wife thought Sky was too expensive and said we should cancel it, using NowTV, Netflix and the Freesat on the Tv. Well we are less than a week without Sky and she wants it back lol.

So do I just ring and see what deal they offer me or should I get her to subscribe as a new member, getting the SkyQ deal from the website or will they recognise the address?

    Any suggestions greatly appreciated.

Just wait for an email saying "come back to us", they do it all the time. I got a 60% discount off my bill for 12 months after cancellation

I left after 15 years, ended up having my final year free (kept throwing me offers).
After 2 months they came back on the phone, I kept saying no and to stop phoning, they kept it up about 3-4 times, haven't heard since, so have a little patience and get a good offer!
I do miss it, I loved the interface, but I don't miss the prices, Freesat (even though I've just lost C4HD) and NowTv will do the job. The ball will be in your court (at least for a 12-18 months).

By all means go back etc. In which case if you look on your online account you’ll probably see an automatic offer on there already for x amount off for 12 months etc.

But the other thing, what specifically does she actually MISS that she isn’t getting now with Now Tv etc already?

(Like you say the money difference is a fair bit, so maybe there’s other options that could cover her needs better and you remain quid’s in as a bonus.)

I haven't checked my account, thought it would be automatically disabled when I left. I will take a look, thanks for the idea.

Looks like it was worth checking my account, I can get the entertainment package for £15 (which is all I had, no sports or movies) and the HD channels for £3 (paying for these drives me nuts but what can you do), so £18 compared to £38, not bad.
So the next question is if i go for this, how long should i wait before going for Sky Q :D

Then take the deal and ask subsequently.
