When I finally receive my AE700 I'm going to connect a new DVD player via HDMI/DV-I. Thats that sorted.

But, I could do with finding out the best way to connect my Sky+. Now its connected to my TV via RGB scart, so should I connect it to my pj with S-vid (about 12mtrs of a quality cable) or should i go another avenue, like an RGB splitter etc ?

ps I already have a JS-Tech RGB-VGA converter feeding my plasma of Sky+, so maybe this could be icorporated another way?

:suicide: All the possibilities are confusing

    Thanks

    Lil

    Lil,

I can only speak for myself here, as I have not tried all the different options. I connect my DVD by componant direct to the 700.

I connect my Sky+ by s-video also direct to the 700.

I am very happy with this set up, and selecting the source via the Projector.
The Picture is VERY good from the DVD, and is pretty darn good from Sky+ (although obviously until Sky go to High Definition it will never be AS good)

Hope this helps......... not sure if it will ;)

Good luck with whatever you decide

    Mark

Unless you're going to go for an up-convertor to scale up to VGA/XGA, then S-Video is the best way to connect Sky+ to your pj.
