    Hello,

Whats the best way to connect the Panasonic AE700 with the following for best PQ:

    DVD Player (Pio 575)
    Digital Sat TV
    X-box
Terrestrial analog TV (I don't care much about the PQ of this)

I am buying a Marantz 4500, so maybe I could use some of its video in/out.

    Please Help!

    Component for the dvd player
RGB Scart or S - Video for the sat box
RGB or Component for the X Box
S - Video input for the analog tv if going through a video recorder

The above works for me with this projector.

    Thanks.

I will connect the the DVD directly with component.

This means that I have no more component, and just one RGB scart.
Which should be connected with the scart, the Sat or X-box?

Would it be better if I connect the X-box, the Sat and the terrestrial analog on the Receiver and then connect the receiver with a scart on the PJ?

The projector will be about 3.5 meters away from the other AV equipment, is this distance OK for scart?

The thing is i have found some games work perfectly with the Scart RGB i use but some distort ( Dead or Alive 3 ) its possible that the reason this is happening is down to the fact that the scart lead is not the official microsoft one therefore its best if you have the option of component or scart for the x box.

You could connect the dvd player using the HDMI input but you would need a new one for that.

Scart RGB for the X Box
Connect your Sat Box to your video recorder and then connect to the projector using s -video
    DVD Player using component.

How about connecting everything to the receiver (DVD/X-box with component, Sat/terrestrial with s-video) and then connect the receiver with component to the PJ.

The receiver is a Marantz 4500

Would I loose quality on DVDs if I do that?
