Ok, bit of a daft question here, but what would be the best way to get rid off lipgloss from a tv? (tv in question is samsung ue46c7000 if it makes any difference what so ever).

I think most of the actual lip gloss is off the screen now, but it has left smear marks all over it and some patches are still quite sticky.

a damp cloth and a microfiber cloth? glass cleaner? baby wet wipes?

    thanks for any help.

Baby wipes is a big NO NO!!!!!!! I'd usually use breath and a microfibre cloth, some might say use some distilled water and a microfibre cloth.

Whatever you use just be very gentle with the strokes that you use as lcd screens are quite fragile and can scratch easily.

My experience is it depends what's on the tv. Normal dust can be wiped away by a damp piece of kitchen cloth. However greasy fingers from my kids needs more pressure or something to help it, the best I've found and have used for ages is Autoglym glass cleaner or autoglym glass polish.

Some folks will no doubt shout in alarm but I've used the stuff for years and it cleans glass better than anything - even use it on my ipad!

Two microfiber cloths. One wet and rung out within an inch of its life, the other dry and used to buff up the screen.
    Works a treat :)
