Going too start using the 360's vga after the spring update i have a cheap vga cable (joytech) which is not great compared to component but i think a better quality one would be better (upscaling and no overscan) any 1 got any info ;)

    thanks

I tried a couple of cables and ended up sticking with the Official one as none of the others where any different in picture quality, its so clean and crisp in vga mode its really hard to tell the difference if there is any which i would say there was not.

I've got the official VGA cable running between my 360 and Sony W series panel and it made a marked difference over the official component cable. There was more detail visible and, the colours became more vibrant. Of course, the resolution did go from 1080i to 1080p at the same time however, from the distance I view the panel from, I shouldn't physically have been able to see the difference in resolution. It definitely got better though :smashin:

I have both the official vga lead and the monster vga lead and the monster one comes out on top for me but it is rather expensive.

The only thing, in my opinion anyway, that the monster has over the official is a higher price tag, ive had both running and cant see any diference at all.
The official one is just as good in my view.
