Having decide to use a VGA cable to connect Sky+ to my plasma. I assume VGA cables vary in quality in the same way that Scarts do?

If so, anyone any recommendations on what would work well for connection to my Panny 6 series plasma?

Getting a JS RGB>VGA convertor as I am assured by these forums that this will give me the best PQ.

Mark grant (powerbuy cables man) also suggested to me that he may be doing an RGBHV to vga cable in the future, perhaps he will be doing vga to vga also

Also keep in mind the input Cable is as important as the output cable.

It gets expensive but here's my recommendation:

1 x SUPRA AV6 SCART RGB (Digibox to Converter)
    1 x JS Technology RGB2VGA Converter
1 x BetterCables Silver Serpent HD15 to HD15 (Converter to Plasma)

Though this doesn't take account of any plans to have your DMR-E60 in the system on RGB - I don't have that Recorder so cant say how effective it is on 'pass-through' if you want to keep your Digibox permanently looped through the DMR-E60 as RGB. If you went that route then an additional SCART RGB cable is required.

    Best regards

    Joe

    Just noticed this thread...

I ordered a LAT International VI-6 Mark II Component Video RCA connectors + an adapter RGB-SCART to connect my Arcam DV27 to a Loewe Vitros, using Component Video, so the cable will be ready for a plasma or whatever...

What do you say, should be better than the Chord RGB SCART I use now...
