Hi all,
I am in the market for a VCR that can provide me with the best playback picture quality, for around the £150 mark. I am embarking on a project to convert a large amount of old VHS tapes (upto 15 years old) to DVD, my process will be:
VCR -> miniDV (analog passthrough)-> Firewire
And then subsequent encoding on the PC. I very rarely ever record anything to VCR from tele these days, so recording quality really ins't anywhere near as important as playback quality to me. Just as an example, I've been looking at the JCV HR-S7965. Any views on that model? Any other models I should take a look at?
Any help would bemuch appreciated!
Cheers,
