    Hi

I'm looking to buy a new TV, preferably a 40 - 42 inch, with full HD and Freeview HD, preferably with the ability to record and pause and rewind with a USB device, and what's good for gaming (going to be using a PS3).

Iv'e been looking at the 'Toshiba 40L1353B' which is £300 and the 'Samsung UE42F5000' which is £370.

Out of these two which would you recommend for my needs? And/Or is there any others in this price range which you could suggest or would say is better for my needs.

Much help would be appreciated, thanks.

I'd get the Samsung 40" F5000 rather than the 42". I'm pretty sure the panel is a bit dodgy on the 42". They are quite hard to find though. They were £349 at Currys but they recently hiked the price up to £449. Or else have a look at Amazon for some 'returned' deals'. You could get a returned Samsung 40" F6320 for £431. Beauty of amazon is their no quibble returns policy.
