Any advise really appreciated, I am looking for a cheapo £200 system that can preferably play mpeg4/DivX and if possible, has progressive scan.

I am total newbie, so bear with me :) I want it to plug into my Sky+, and I am not bothered about huge volume, just a clean sound.

    Thanks!

I dont agree, i bought the panasonic scht520 system, and i absolutely love it! For £200 it has brought watching DVD's to life. Admittedly you dont get the full dolby digital 5.1 sound watching normal tv or sky but it does enhance the sound. You get a nice range of sound with a great sub woofer as well. I'm very pleased with this system my first home cinema system
