been looking around, and came across a few mice players :)

pioneer dv-585 (i'm assuming the 585 is the new version of the 575?) nice looker, would go well with my pioneer amp (vsx-c301)

jamo DVD-593 - gorgeous and great reviews

both well under my budget, very tempted by the jamo atm, just looks gorgeous

any help or advise really will be appreciated guys :smashin:

Someone ordered the Jamo recently on this forum - do a search. Perhaps pm them to see what they think...PJ

thanks mate, i did find it :)

not really worth PM'ing him though as he does'nt seem to know the in's and out's like most on here :(

dunno what to think now, the jamo has a really good review, and it is one of the best looking players ever imo!

but the pioneer has a solid rep, matches my amp, but it's a bit old hat now and the newer one has no reviews. damn, why can't it be easy :rotfl:

Go on, try the Jamo, if you don't you'll always wonder what if? :D

Anyway, once you've bought one, you'll buy the other anyway. Most people seem to have two or more players round here!...PJ

so i'm after an uprated model :D

get a very respectable picture on my plasma with the phillips though

I forgot to add that most people start with the intention of just buying one new player becasue their existing player looks fine anway... :D
