I'm now (at last) in the market for a 40"-42" Lcd, the only tv i'll rule out is the sony x series as i personally don't like the look of it.

I've started trawling through the forum but couldn't find any definitive advice.

Does any one have any useful advice for me?

    Thanks in advance:thumbsup:

2k is a lot of money, and you want the best! Tough, you could get the X-series and change the fascia if that is what you don't like about it.

Yeah currently. You could get the Toshiba X-series which comes in 42". Model no. Toshiba 42X3030D.

But if you wait till September, their flagship Z-series model will be out.
