Can anyone suggest a top performing PAL/NTSC Prog Scan player for £150 or less ? so far I have found these :

Pioneer 575A (I own this and wish to replace due to PAL Prog performance)
    Denon 1710
    Toshiba 340E

    Any others ?

340e will give u flicker free picture but the 575 has more features and apart from the flicker is excellent otherwise.. it's whether u can live with the flicker or not!

What is the flicker on the Pioneer 575A that you mention? I was just on the point of buying one of these to use with a Sharp LC26G3 having seen all the good reviews (and having decided that the benefits of using the DVI over the component is not really worth the extra cost).

    Cheers
