Hi all, I'm a bit fed of of this 5.1 setup in my gaming room with my PC and as I have a full system downstairs its time I got rid of this and settle down to a quality set of stereo PC speakers for around the £100 mark, anyone any ideas which are the best ?

    Thanks :)

Forgot to say, I only have one set shortlisted which are these (Klipsch ProMedia GMX A-2.1) which retail around the £100 mark.

I also like the sounds of the M-Audio BX5a speakers, cheapest I saw them at is £168 and I havent read one bad review about them...... £168 would be over budget, but if they are worth it ?

The Klipsch are the best you will get. Pretty much all else readily available will be 'ok' but not great. I don't know anything about the M-Audio set but I am a fan of their soundcards so a listen might be in order.

i think most people use the speakers that came with their PC's. if not they use £20 ones! mine are £15 NXT ones from PC world (packard bell!) with a "sub" if thats what you can call it, and they sound great for PC use.

You need to put that in the classifieds Andrew, as you're not allowed to sell it in this forum.

Thanks, I've removed it, didn't really want to put it in the classifieds here, too many low offers.

I had some Edirol MA10D's, if you're interested, let me know and I'll stick an ad in the classifieds for you.

Had a quick browse on the net for these andrew, they look ok-ish, I dont really like the beechwood colour, but I could live with it.

I wouldnt want you to start a classified thread and not give you what you want for them, it would be wasting your time..... but its upto you.

Running Mission m70s through a NAD C320BEE amp, using a SoundBlaster Audigy 2 as a source. Sony MDR-480 headphones used for late night listening. Other sources are a NAD C521BEE CD player and Pro-Ject Debut II TT. For convenience, the iTunes/Audigy combination are used the most!
