Having accepted my floorstander GR.20 speakers are just too much for my room, i am now selling them after auditioning the GR.10 speakers.

Can anyone recommend great stands to place them on? Atacama ?

    Thanks.

I use the older Atacama SE24 - they seem perfect for the GR10's both looks and sound wise. They have bigger top plates than the newer SE5/SE6 models which seem to suit the size of the GR10. The SE24's aren't made anymore but there are usually plenty around second hand.

If you don't mind buying used and can find a pair then I can recommend Target R2 stands. Used a pair for years - they do weigh a ton though as the legs are solid.

Hope the GR10's suit your room - have you considered room treatment as I do not find the GR20's to be bass heavy.

I have some very solid Stand design stands, about 70 cms high with floor spikes and upper speaker mounts if your interested ? - They can be filled with sand too.
