Not quite sure if this is the right section to post in so im sorry if it is!

Anyway im wiring up a PA system for a community centre hall, im not quire sure what the best placemnt is for speakers, the hall is 66ft*33ft and has a false ceiling 12ft high, now its mainly for transmitting clear speech for folks sat in a chair on the floor (well duh!) what would be the ideal solution? ceiling mount or mount them on the walls right up against the ceiling.

In my inexperienced mind i would say ceiling mount would be the best as you can get a uniform sound in every portion of the room.

    Any advice appreciated.

yes ceiling would be best, the room acoustics will make it hard enough to get heard without having speakers firing across each other, ceiling mount sounds much more agreeable!
