As subject, any suggestions? Someone said its WAV, agree?
For sound quality, the best format is going to be something like either .cda,or as high a bitrate as possible(in terms of the compromise between space and quality) in one of the compression formats.
As to which of the compressed formats you prefer, thats one that opens up all manner of debates....some prefer MP3,others ATRAC,etc etc.....personally I dont mind higher rate MP3 or Apple's .ale, but they still sound flat and compressed.
I assume you're aiming this at portable players,as there are obviously other digital formats which leave any of this far behind, and can rival or exceed the best that analogue can offer.
The best sound qulaity digital format?
"MP3 Type" - Apple Lossless
