best solution for devices stored in cupboard

My AV Amp, Blueray, Audio, Router and Sky box are set up in a cupboard. I want to have the doors closed and use the remotes. I am also an ipad user and the Yam amp and Samsung TV both have remote aps which is good. I need to be able to control everything with the doors closed including the sky box. I have seen there are various devices available as remote extenders, (such as the powermid etc) but which is would be the best solution. All my devices face the doors of the cupboard in close proximity also.

This is a typical IR Extender Powermid Mini IR Extender but I wouldn't have things, and especially not a Sky machine, in an enclosure unless I wanted to use it as an oven.;)

Thanks, do they work ok?

I really don't understand the mentality of all these devices like TV's getting slimmer and better looking, the people actually want to have their AV black hunk of a box on display! To me it's all clutter and looks much better hidden away in a warm cupboard (oven!)

When I was using the pyramid shaped one that did its job properly, and they can only have improved since then.
Maybe it's time to match that up to date gear with a Harmony 900 though.;)

Hi
I've been using a kit from Keene Electronics for a while and it works very well. All my kit is in the cupboard near the doors and I haven't noticed any problems.
One thing though - if your kit gets hot then it might be worth cutting out some or all of the back of the cupboard to let some air in.
Cheers

Yes, Keene sell stuff like that and I don't see the point of paying in dollars and getting delivery from China.

I've never bought from Keene, and doubt that I ever will.:)
