    Hi,

I have just looked on the directdistribution site, & can either get the Ixos 162AV for £16.22 or the 126AV for £29.22. As this would be an initial upgrade from a rather old black scart, is it worth paying out for the 126, or would the 162 be fine to begin with.

    Many thanks. :)

Personally, I would get the 126AV - not just for the quality but also because you will always need scart cables and these will last for years (but then I would say that wouldn't I).

Anything less than £35 for this cable is very good - £35 was the cheapest I found for the 126AV at the time (postage was free and still is from hifibitz so dont forget to check for postage elsewhere).

Not had experience of the 162AV, but why don't you compare their full specifications at http://www.ixos.co.uk/

    :)
