The Pod race from Star Wars was the clip used to demonstrate the setup I was considering,it was so good,I bought it.
Turn the volume up and enjoy.

    Both fairly predictable choices but...

The initial battle from Gladiator and the first attack from the Acheron in Master & Commander.

is also my choice for demo-ing my surround system. Also Pitch Black when the spaceship crashes also shakes the house, especially in DTS.

I'm with Greyhorse on this one ... the start of Swordfish. If you don't feel the need to try and extract a large ball bearing from the back of your head ... then your sound system ain't working properly :D

May not be the best in terms of subtelty, but the seismic charges scene (Obi wan chasing Jango/Bobba) from Star Wars Attack of the Clones has replaced the opening scene from Saving Private Ryan as my demo of choice.

Especially with the sub on, you can actually feel that 'booooiiiinnnggg' sound vibrating the air in your lungs!!! I even moved to a detached house for the pleasure of such audio delights!!! :smashin:

You beat me to it, as I was just thinking of this scene, when I saw your post.

Awesome film to demo your system to.

The whole film in dts (i have R3 dunno about R2) is FANTASTIC in the audio field. I could watch it with my eyes closed all the way through and enjoy it more than a lot of films! When they are on the plane with all the bags falling out i felt like leaning down and picking something up!
