I'v been using an S video lead to watch my Samsung dvd player through my Panny 36PF10 and even though the image presented has definition and detail , the trade off is a slightly textured , grainy appearance, on top of which , my tv does not autoswitch widescreen formats with this lead so I'm switching back to scart but the amount of quality cables available is a little bewildering - does a £60 scart cable have really significantly better image quality than a £20 cable? Does anyone have any recommendations?

I use an IXOS 126A Cable to connect my Set Top box to an RGB Scart input on my Television. It cost £35 for a 0.75 metre cable from Dixons. The 1 metre cable is £39.95. You certainly can tell the difference in the picture quality between this and the standard scart cables supplied with the Set Top Box. I would most definately recommend this cable. <img src="smile.gif" border="0">
