I can't believe nobody has mentioned Wisdom, an old (but great) Emilio Estevez film. Badlands would also be up there.

As for the worst Road movie, that would be Roadkill - truly dreadful....Kandy Kane......Kaaaannnnndddyyyyyy Kaaannneeee :D.
