I'm about to take the plunge  in purchasing a Pan TH42PV500 and was wondering if it's better to show jpeg stills at the same resolution (1:1 mapping).

The reason I ask is that I normally shoot at 2240 res but these don't look too good on my current TV (Standard def RP CRT) although 1024 res pictures look better.

Does the same apply for the Pan plasma and does it make any difference in terms of res quality if I use the card slot or via a PC hook up?

    Cheers

I think I found my HTPC looked best at 1024x768 via the VGA.

I would keep them at full res, and use the card slot. Should look better than native.
