    Hey guys,

Very angry as my SAMSUNG PS51D6900 has been killed today (puppy). Insurance said they should be able to replace it like for like, so I would appreciate some help in choosing a replacement.

I don't have a particular brand loyalty, but this tv is by far the best I have seen, and when set up properly is amazing. I would be looking at the same size screen if possible, and one that could be wall mounted to avoid the same from happening again. I think I would like to stick to plasma too, as the blacks are far better than any LCD's that I have had previously.

The TV is only used with my PS3 which I use for everything (games, blurays, netflix etc). Barely any SD content will be viewed on the screen - less than 10% of total viewing material.

    Many thanks for any help:smashin:

Maybe a natural progression to the 8000 series Samsung offer? They are very good for gaming due to their relatively low input lag, and the plasma's offer good blacks although not as deep as the Panasonic range.

Yes sorry, its the new mid range this year, no idea if its better than the E8000 or not as there's little on the new sets still and they aren't out yet.
The E8000 is the top end 2012 set, worth a look if you can find one.
