The title says it all really, this seems to be my most noisy component at the moment. at the moment I'm using a Spire CPU-Fan WhisperRock IV Socket A.

    Thanks

It runs at around 49c at idle in current weather conditions, up to around 55 when on load. A little warmer than my previous CPU/HS combination, but OK considering how quiet it is. I'll have to swap the fan out of the PSU as that's a little noisy.

It's only my desktop machine, but the prices of quiet CPU coolers has dropped enough to make it cheap enough to buy a cooler just for the fan. :)

    Gary.

Cheers. Those temps are pretty good considering how quiet it is. Looks like a good purchase.
