Can any member advise me where I can find the best priced Pronto remote?
Just bought the 1MB model inc Docking Station for £188 at:
whats the pronto like ?
I have the MARANTZ RC2000MKII which I have had for almost two years and is a bit clumsy and clunky.
The pronto looks nice ! What exactly does the docking station do ? Does it mean I do not have to worry about batteries ?
Do you think I should treat myself ?
Far better than the RC2000 IMHO
well seeing as its good enough for Jenz and lots of the others whos opinion I value I have taken the plunge and just ordered from www.letsautomate.com
Thanks for the price Jenz, as with all you HKL advice this too was a winner.
Hopefully by the weekend ill have a new toy to play with.
Someone's just posted in another thread that Richer Sounds have it for £150, but I've got last month's catalogue here and it says £199 so I don't know.
...but even if it is £150 it probably doesn't include the Docking Station so letsautomate is probably your best bet.
Wish I was allowed to get one! If my other half knew I'd spent £200 on a remote control I think I'd very soon be single!!
My other half was understanding, but I am helping her pay for a holiday with her friend for her birthday, have brought loads of furniyure for her flat and helped do tons of work around the place
so i guess i earnt it
The Pronto docking station charges the batteries and makes the remote look a little more cool.
BUT, if you do buy one don't leave the charger plugged in all the time. According to Remote Central "top up charging" can wreck the batteries. Apparently you should only connect the charger when the Pronto batteries need a full recharge.
can anyone advise on where i can find info about the new colour philips/marantz remote,
the tsu9000? i think?
answered my own question once i realised it was the 6000! for anybody else interested i found this
