    I know it's still a little early, but I'm looking to pre-order Halo 2. I have my eye on the Limited Edition version, just for the cool case. Anyone found a better price than these yet?

    Limited Edition:
    Amazon = £35

    CD-Wow = £32 (this is obviously a misplaced entry, so I'm a little dubious about ordering from this one)

    Standard Edition:
    Amazon = £30

    Gameplay = £30

    The limited edition is £39.99 at CD-Wow with the standard one at £32.99.

    I've looked on Games Tracker and agree that Amazon seem the cheapest so far with the LE @ £34.99 & the SE @ £29.99 as you mention in your post. Not bad considering the P&P is free as well.

    Yeah, it looks like they removed the £32.99 LE listing. Probably wouldn't have honoured any orders anyway.

    I'm getting it from my local Game. I don't want to chance it. I'll be really miffed if I don't get it on release day.

    Pre ordered limited tin from amazon 6 months ago for £32 delivered. The only thing that would worry me with pre orders now is stock levels. You cant underestimate how many copies of this they have already been sold. Expect a few out of stocks as soon as it is realesed at the cheap places :rolleyes:

    I finally pre-ordered by LE tin from Amazon. I picked the free shipping, like a sucker, so I may have to wait a few days after release. Luckily, my flatmate also has a copy ordered, so one of us should get it at launch.

    I worry about stock levels/delivery times too from online retailers - so when a big release comes round I put my online pre-order in, then buy it from a high street Game too, so I have a copy on release day. Then when my copy comes in the mail, I return the over-priced Game copy on their 10 day returns policy. Works a treat, if you have the disposable income and can get to a Game store easily.

    I can see a GTAS on this. Definately going to sell out especially the limited edition tin. Everyone wants it. I ordered mine many months ago from Amazon so hopefully I should get it.

    I ordered this from Tesco during their VAT free promotion last week, when I ordered it said 'Preorder now for delivery on day of release'. Looked on the website just now and it said estimated delivery 5th Dec! Rang them and the chap there had been a mistake and the release date was the 12th Nov (errrr no it aint!) and that it would be dispatched on the release date i.e. won't be with me until Saturday at the earliest! Not happy... told them I wanted to cancel which according to the website 'you can do at any stage before it's despatched' but the chap said he thinks it's too late to cancel the order! Won't be shopping at tesco online again that's for sure....

    I can't say i'm bothered about the tin box version - i'm getting it with the live starter kit bundle personally. Then again I guess most of you will already be on live.

    Well Amazon have let me down again :mad: Despite shipping it yesterday morning it has not shown up with the post this morning. Not a happy bunny.

    I am already on live for the extra £5 the Tin set is an essential purchase in my opinion. Incidentally, how much is the live bundle, my friend is not on live and will probably want this.

    Mine had arrived from Virgin yesterday when i got back from work (limited edition copy- cracking set).

    Only cost me £44 in total for Halo 2 and FIFA 2005 thanks to the Virgin voucher cock up.
