R4 is less than £10 inc P&P from planet dvd

    http://www.planetdvd.com.au/dvdinf.asp?i=946

R1 is slightly over £10 from playcentric

    http://www.playcentric.com/dvd/prod...HECK&product_ID=D_O_CAP071172012_741027117165

however they seem to be doing £1.50 off orders before Aug 31st
so this could be the cheapest

You only have to pay import tax on goods whose value exceeds £18. The retailers are meant to declare the value of the goods on the box, i presume to inform customs whether or not import tax is due. However many retailers such as cd-wow seem to put the value of the goods as £14.99 even if it costs more. They do not do this on box sets though, probably would look far too dodgy.

However even if the declared value exceeds £18 doesnt mean you will have to pay import tax. I have never paid it on several orders, just today sopranos season 3 arrived with a declared value of 44.99 yet no import tax due.

Even if you do get done for import tax, it is not that much just over 20% on average

It is also worth noting that some retailers such as Future ship R1 titles from within the UK so you can not possibly pay import tax on orders from them. However, there are usually cheaper sites to buy from than future.

check out www.cd-wow.com i have found their prices very low and their service first rate

    hope this helps

Blimey, I remember seeing that as a nipper - the tiger in the back of the car as an alarm is most memorable:eek:
