Best Plasma to buy for under £4000

    Hi to all

    I'am looking to buy a Plasma Tv for under £4000.00 ( Help ) ,

    I have the Tosh SD900E so it must play Pro-Scan on NTSC disc's
    and be connected via Component,
    also wish to connet Sky & Vcr also amp etc ,

    It looks One on the 42 Panny's is my best bet , But is it ? ? ,

    So come on guys I need some help

    No it isnt your best bet , the pioneer 433 mxe is , but loads of people will disagree now lol , do a search this has been debated loads.

    yep, sorry but i'm one of them. You'll probably find that whoever owns a panny will say panny, and vice versa for pioneer owners.

    I'd say the panny pw4. Cant go wrong with the pw4. Its amazing.

    Also, in my opinion, a black border round the 433 is cheap looking.

    Dont go by magazine award winning reviews, cause I recently gave my mate a tenner to go get me a case of beers when he didnt want to originally....u know what i mean ;)

    As a delighted 433 owner I have to agree, the frame is not its best feature. But overall I prefer it to the Panny (that's why I bought one). What is sure is that the choice has to be between the Panny (or maybe the Tosh clone) and the Pioneer. Nothing else really gets close, although if funds are tight then the Samsung is worth a look.
    For those with smaller rooms it might be worth mentioning that I find you can sit closer to the 433 without seeing the pixels than you can with the Panny - presumably due to the higher res? 2 metres is still comfortable with the 433 while with lower res screens I've found 2.5 or even 3 is a minimum.
