I need a good big plasma or LCD that could be used as a computer monitor as well. Whats the best Plasma or LCD to be used along with a PC?

    My limitations:

    1) It should not cost more than 4500 pounds.

    2) It should not be wider than 112cm (bigger would not fit my space), but it should not be smaller than 42".

I've heard that connecting a PC to a plasma can be tricky and the quality might not be very good some times. (not square pixels etc)

What resolution do you 'want' to run?

    Plasma top out at:

42-43" ~ 1024x768 (absolute minimum for pc use but really it is p!ss poor for any sort of multi tasking imo...)
    50" ~ 1280 x 768 or 1365 (or was it 1366?) x 768 (square pixels)

Their is a sharp 40" LCD that runs 1920x1080 but I'm not sure if you can use that resolution for pc though.

You would be better of with the Apple 30" with a compatible graphics card that supports Dual Link for the DVI to drive the dam thing. But you got 4500 to play with :D Runs a huge 4mp display.

I run a 23" Sony LCD @ 1920x1200 for pc usage. Good for video also.
