    Hi

Im looking for a plasma screen which can display 1080i signals and is under £1300. Im currently looking at the Samsung PS42Q7.
Is this a good choice or is there another plasma which is better for around my budget?

    Thanks

Can't speak about the Sammy as I don't own one, but have a look here:

And some reviews about the LG can be found here:

Anyway you should also try to compare them side by side and see what you like more:hiya:

upscaling DVD players are a waste of money (the panel scales anyway) and 99% of cases does a better job

If you have a tuner and sound I don't think you'll go far wrong with the 42PWD8 :smashin:

42PWD8 (under a grand) is going to give you the best PQ for Sky/DVD and Xbox 360 for your budget

I have an old cheap home cinema system which I dont think has component out so Il need to get a new one if I get a PWD8.

My PWD7 makes me grin from ear to ear every time I switch it on - the PQ is amazing. I have just bought a 26" Sony LCD for the bedroom which pales in comparison...

Try a search, they are respected panels.
