I have an ad in the trading section of the forums and have had zero response so it looks like eventually I will have to go to a shop and trade my DS for a Lite.
Where gives the highest trade in value?

I asked for my daughter in Game a few weeks back, they said they had piles of the old DS and could only offer £20 max.

Think Gamestation it's about £35 trade. A new DS lite costs £99.99 or £109.99 with any game of you choice from there, so just take £35 off either one of them, and that's what you'd pay. Think preowned Lites are about £89.99, not sure if these come with a game or not, but they would come with a 1 year warranty.

I upgraded both my DS's to Lites, and it's definitely worth doing, they're a lot better!

Lites are £72 from Dvdstars with free postage so I might get one from there and sell my DS

If I were you I'd have a look on eBay & see what the DS is generally being sold for. It's likely to be more than you'd get for trading it in & you can then just put the money towards a DS Lite.

the only thing thats better is the screen..the cheap plasticky feel, poor collar buttons, speakers that are inferior to the phat DS,and absolutely dire diagonals on the d pad make it a poor substitute.
i still prefer the old one over my lite.
