    Hi All

I want to sell my KEF Reference Four - Two's and wondered if anyone could suggest the best place to try and sell them. I really want somewhere (internet/real world) that understands this brand and the audio market that will really appreciate these speakers.

Obviously given their size/weight if I need to take them somewhere I'd prefer it not to be too far - I am in Suffolk, East Anglie.

    TIA for any replies.

thanks for the reply, I will try the classifieds. I was also thinking of any hi-fi shops that might something like this to sell on, and if anyone here had had any experience in doing this ?

I know Audio-T sometimes part x or give cash for equipment. They have said to myself though that you would do a lot better by selling privately. I imagine this would be the same for most retailers.

try www.hififorsale.com have used this to sell in past, had to repost ads to bump them so be patient.

trade ins usually mean a good bit less than a private sale.

ps. you can't advertise here and elsewhere - read the rules :)

How much are you looking for it approx? Or rather, is there a reserve figure you have in mind below which you will not let it go?

Unfortunately I really have no idea. All I know is what they cost at the time I got them, but I don't know by how much speakers reduce in value. I can't find any for sale anywhere to give me a guide to the price !

I'm keen for them to go to someone who would appreciate them, and hence am not looking to achieve "the most I can possibly get" but without any idea what they might be worth its difficult to put a price ! If they had reduced in value by 50% that would put them at around £2000 but is that an accurate assumption ?
