I may be looking to use an LCD projector as part of a theatrical production, so high(ish) lumens is important, therefore I'm probably looking at business rather than home use projectors.

Does anyone know a good place to start looking for good deals second hand?

    Cheers!

    Any idea of screen size?
    Throw?
    Front / Rear?

    Rear probably.

Not sure about throw/size at the moment, I just want to see what is available for the money. (Cost maybe prohibitive eg. £10k is too much).

    Sam,
Summary - You need a bright projector, with either a very wide angle zoom lens as standard or the option to change to a wide angle lens, oh and it has to be cheap (s/h) but not knackered (ie requires new lamp & servicing). Is that about right?

Hmm... Think you might be searching a long time for something that fits the bill. Have you considered hiring?

Most major cities in the UK have AV equipment hire companies. They stock exactly what you need, and can work out hire rates for short or long term projects. Want some phone numbers?

    Regards

    Chris

Thanks for the suggestion, I think renting is probably the way to go.

    Got any numbers in London?
