Can anyone reccommend an online retailer that provides good reliable service from which to purchase a 32/36" television?

    I have the same question.

Looking for best prices I found "www.pricerunner.com". They give the prices offered by different reailers.

But then how do you choose? The good price could be accompanied by poor after sales service.

I am asking for your help

Please post your experience, good or bad, on:

    1) Delivery
    2) Dealing with bad geometry or other screen faults
    3) Substitute the TV altogether

    Desticado,

I despair of you - first you want to buy a Sony DAV and then you want to buy it from Techtronics.

One of the very useful features of this forum is the search facility. Use it to search on "techtronics" which will save me from having to make any defamatory statements.

    Regards

    Ian

Perhaps I'm beyond redemption, but I prefer to think of myself as a disciple awaiting conversion...
    :D

I'd tried looking through the forum for some sites but came up with very little on my initial inspections....

I think this appears worse by my tendancy to type faster than I think sometimes on bulletin boards....

No-one is beyond redemption until they have actually parted with the cash. You would be suprised how many people come back to the site saying "I have just bought a DAV and would like to know how to connect up my TV, VCR, Digibox, Playstation, Minidisc et al and even Double Doom who is the forum connection wizard cannot answer that one.

My faveourite postings are the ones such as....

"Hi, I've just spent £900 on a brand X item, have I made a good purchas or not....."

I think they should make these posts BEFORE they splash the cash...

    :D :D ;) :D :D

To back up Spectre I bought a pair of Mission speakers recently from Hifibitz at a very competitive price and delivery was on the following day - highly recommended

I actually started off by rumaging around on the HCC website and found it almost impossible to find any sites on it (found manufactureres but not retailers...)

HiFi BitZ have a very limited selection of TV's but I'll keep them in mind for the audio components.
