This may have been asked before but I couldn't find an answer to my question when i searched the forum.

Where is the best place to buy the uncut version of the Indiana Jones box set so that i won't get charged a customs fee if it is imported from abroad. I was intending to get it from cd-wow but they warn that if it doesn't get through customs without a charge there's nothing they can do.

    Cheers

R1 is NTSC - not as good as PAL. Try to go for the Auzzie R4 which is PAL or a European set with an English soundtrack

I think you are going to need a slightly stronger argument than that!

I would go for the R1 version superhuman I am sure you will be more than happy with it... Try www.dvdpricecheck.co.uk or take a look at the recommended retailers list thread above :smashin:

Thanx, think i'm gonna go with http://www.movietyme.com/catalog/ like Ewan
recommended, i would ordinarely (sp?) use dvdpricecheck but they don't tell you whether your gonna get charged at customs so i'd rather go with a recommendation.

It is pot luck whether you get charged by customs.

All you can do is pick a reliable etailer at a good price and hope.

Of course, the lower the price you pay the lower customs duty & VAT will be.

Movietyme ship to the UK, then ship on , so no risk of customs.

And glad to see dvdmike had a good reason for saying the region 2 is better

For me, pal speedup is a curse, plus the UK version is cut, region 1 every time :smoke:

Just my 5 pence, rant over.
