Am thinking of getting another PJ - have about £900 to spend. Currently have an ae100 with buyer ready to purchase.

Any advice?

Ideally I'd like a DLP.

Cheers!

if you want new, really your only choice is the little infocus dlp. Guess you could almost do it with an anamorphic lens if you so desired

Cheers for the reply Ad

Where would I get such a lens and how much - any links or info anyone?

If you're going to the States anytime soon, the Optoma H30 can be picked up for $1400 ( ~£750 ) Even if you get collared for VAT it's still meets your budget.

Alternatively you can buy the pj over here, but for £1150 or so I'm afraid.

EDIT:

Well, there's a slim glimmer of hope you could get one for £900 :)

Or how about a sanyo Z1 on special offer and a DECENT screen! Spreading your money the right way will give better results in the end. It will cost C.£250-300 to MAKE a top class screen with screen paint and black edging, but it'll be the dog's danglies, and serve you for future PJ upgrades.

Maw, Who is doing the Z1 on special deal at the moment, do you know??

Cheers

Nexnix were, or they've run out I've still got an ex demo, only 1/2 trying to sell it, must get down to a serious price for it.
