HI
i just got my new samsung lcd and i am very dissapointed with picture quality as it is very blurry especially when people speak or move.
anyone got any suggestions for good picture settings
many thanks
:lease:

Turn off any noise reduction processing in both the screen and any there may be in your separate sources. Turn off any sharpness/detail enhancers (or set to whatever the "null" (do nothing or as little as possible) position is).

Be sure to use Movie setting as the default picture mode and tweak it from there.
Use medium power saving. As above turn off all NR items.

Prob about
80 contrast
50 brightness
50 sharpness
40 colour

They ALL looks awful out of the box - flick it to movie, try these and you'll get a much more believable picture.

Cheers guys
its much better now, but still not as good as what i expected but im getting sky hd installed on tuesday so hope connections will be better
many thanks:thumbsup:

"The best I could get was using these settings: (on component)

Contrast - 76
Brightness 49
Shaprness - 9

Colour Tone - Warm 1

R COntrast - 47
G COntrast - 58
B Contrast - 58

G Brightness - 55

THis is using Movie Mode, I have gamma turned off in the service menu, and have also turned off Dynamic Dimming in the service menu."
