Hi guys, first post from a newbie.

I had sky plus installed today (a thomson PVR3) and hope it will do as it says on the tin!! What i was looking help with, is what is the best method of connecting the system to my trusty old Toshiba 28" tv. At the moment it is connected via scart with the RGB enabled. Is this better than using the s video connection from the sky box? The tv has 2 scarts on the back, one of which is s video enabled.

Hope that made sense!!:)

Yes RGB is best for your TV. You need to use Scart 1 on your TV. Make sure the scart lead is fully wired and in the TV scart socket on the Digibox

Oh yeah if you have a VCR or DVD recorder you can use another fully wired scart lead to connect from VCR scart on the Digibox to in/out (usually AV1) on the VCR/DVD recorder. This will allow you to record from the digibox setting the recording device to AV1 input (sometimes displays as L1 or A1 or AUX or AV). Also playback of the recording device will become automatic. Only 2 scart leads being needed.
