I am looking for a new phone to use on Vodafone network.

It needs to be good for photos (3mp) and music, but must have reasonable battery. May also use it to surf internet.

May even use it to make phone calls!!!

Does the the K810i come with a 4Gb memory card, or would I need to updrade to it? I assume the memory card is used for both storing music and photos?

The memory cards used by this phone is the Micro M2 memory card?

How does the K800i compare. K800i seems to have a similar spec. Is the K800i an older model than the K810i?

Are you able to upload, download and maintain the phone book on to my PC via the USB connections?

    Thanks

Ive had the K800i for a couple of months, its very similar to the K810 i in terms of functions etc. The phone comes with 64MB internal memory (no Extra micro sd memory), charger, usb 2 phone connection and all the software to manage your phone via the PC. I bought a 1GB Micro M2 card and a Stereo Headphone Adapter on ebay, the adaptor allows you to use your normal headphone with the phone. The MP3 player sounds decent with my sennheiser earphones

Have you tried the wireless bluetooth headset?

What is the battery life like when using the camera, playing music and accessing the internet?

I haven't tried the bluetooth head set, so I couldn't really comment. The battery life is good, better than my old Samsung D600. If fact I was on holiday for a week and the phone didnt need charged once, I was taking photos, playing games and calling the uk daily. My only gripe is there is no repeat message tone, you get the message tone once and thats it (Unlike Motorola & Samsung mobiles)

Is the Sennheiser that you use, specially designed to use with the phone? I have read elsewhere that none of the Sony Ericsson phones have a 3.5mm jack, but I have heard that Nokia phones DO HAVE a 3.5mm jack.

My main reason for buying the K810i or the K800i is to get phone and MP3 player all-in-one.

Dunno about the 810, but my on my k800, the headphones that come with it allow standard 'phones to be plugged into the cable that comes with it. So, you can't plug standard 3.5mm directly into the phone, but using the lead that comes with it, yes you can use standard 'phones.

Oh, and for your use, I agree that the 800/810 is the best phone out there.

What do you want more? a great camera phone with decent MP3 player (K8ooi/810i) or a great MP3 player (for a phone) with a average camera..if its the latter the Sony Ericsson W880i , W580i or other se w (walkman) series phones might be more suited..
