It's seems clear that you'll never get a reasonable picture on a standard CRT TV, so whats the best solution to go for.. a Panasonic projector for around £1100 or a 42" plasma for £2k, or perhaps a 24" widescreen sony monitor for £1100???

unless you can get a good pic on a 24" widescreen CRT TV? - I've not bought my AIW card yet, so haven't yet got to try it out!

Go for a projector, but spend a bit more and get the Sony HS10 for about £2,100. It is worth ever penny, and trashes my £2000 Toshiba 36" widescreen. I get a modest 70" diagonal and the picture quality is great. I even use mine to surf the internet;)

    Just my two pence worth.
