    General,

I've just ordered that as well, being a fan for over 20 years. Just hope the sound and picture quality is better than no bull. I have high hopes. Should upset the neighbours :D

I saw No Bull. Have others on video. I love playing them loud with a beer or three. Beats the warbling squad, ie, Maria Carey and all that type of thing.
    :D

According to the Blues Brothers the two kinds of music are Country and Western.

A lot of the 5.1 mixes on music DVDs are confusing eg tambourine sounds coming from behind you when you can see them in front of you at the back of the stage. The airiness is till great though. Where I feel that it makes a difference is with pseudo-classical stuff eg Moody Blues at the Royal Albert Hall where the enveloping orchestral sounds are so much more involving. Other great ones are the Three Tenors series. Sometimes just plain stereo is better eg the stuff done with Parkinson on the extras of the George Michael Ladies and Gentlemen DVD. The Eagles HFO is definately impressive stuff. Some of it is trickery like the 5 vocalists each on separate channels on the Seven Bridges track. Tina Turner's Wildest Dreams is more impressive for it's picture than the sound quality altough the bass on Proud Mary is great as a demo. Santana's Supernatural is fun but the mix could be better. I like anything of Claptons, the concert in Paris is great. Most Rolling stones DVDs disappoint with sound quality, although some of the tracks on Live at the Max will give that spinal tingle that always is a good test of what you feel about as Music DVD.

If Sony ever get there finger out and release a Pink Floyd one [other than The Wall] , that will be the best :)

It's been a while since I checked, but I assume it still aint been released yet

    Lo All,

It's got to be the Altogether DVD by Orbital. Some of the tracks were originally written to take advantage of 5.1 and not just remixed in a studio by a faceless engineer. Just listen/watch Funny Break or Waving Not Drowning with the old kids TV presenter Brian Cant it's just ace. But as you might guess from my username I am a bit biased :D :D

    Cheers

    Dave

Slipknot? aren't they the guys who beat each other up on stage? Good entertainment!
Dont think the Pink Floyd live (pulse?) has been released yet. It would certainly be a corker. Also just bought Alice cooper brutally live, haven't watched it yet though.
