Best Monitor/FreeView TV combo or just buy a TV?

Hi All

Just wanted to see if any one had one and if they can recommend one?


It for brother who is at uni as he wants to use it for a monitor for his PC and Xbox so must have in built speakers but also wants to be able to watch freeview on it?

Not sure if it is better to just buy a TV these days with a PC input as TV have gone along way with PC display since i last looked?

Max spend £300
Size 20" and up to 27" max as to big to be used on the omputer desk as a monitor?

Also would be good to have DVI and HDMI connections.

I have one of these in dining room 24" T24B350EW Series 3 HDTV LED Monitor - OVERVIEW | SAMSUNG.

Quite new when i got it no reviews but does the job for a 2 in 1 speakers loud aswell was surprised.
